In-House English Specialist/Trainer

FreeDOM Development is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic In-House English Specialist with experience in teaching for a part-time job opportunity.

The main responsibility of the incumbent will be helping employees with a low level of English develop their language skills and bring them to the desired level, other responsibilities will include doing translations and carrying out various tasks connected with English in the company.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (both writing and speaking)
• Advanced level of Armenian and Russian (both writing and speaking)
• Proven experience as an English Trainer and experience in conducting lessons with adults
• Experience in doing translations will be a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Readiness to work with people with beginner and elementary levels as the classes will be conducted with employees who do not have a high level of English
• Organizational skills
• ProActive approach to work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct online English lessons with employees from different backgrounds and with different levels (mostly beginner, elementary, and pre-intermediate)
• Plan and provide personalized lessons designed for each student’s needs 
• Prepare engaging materials and activities
• Regularly provide feedback to the students, as well as report to the management about the progress of the employees
• Periodically research and explore new teaching methods
• Carry out written translations from Russian and English into Armenian, and vice versa, ensuring that the translated content conveys original meaning and tone
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Additional information:

• The position requires daily 4 hours of involvement with the possibility of moving full-time in the future 
• Schedule is flexible, but there will need to be available during the 1st part of the day too 
• Job is fully remote and the lessons will be conducted via Google Meet or Zoom
• There will be a fixed monthly compensation regardless of the number of lessons conducted or the level of the students 
• Lessons will make more than 50% of the work, the rest will be spent on the translations and other assignments.
